Faros Hotel Taksim-Special Category - Istanbul

What a letdown at faros! The 'complimentary' shampoo was nowhere to be found unless I begged for it, totally ridiculous. And don't get me started on the tiny balcony, barely enough for a cat to sit. I almost considered a good review but the lack of special treatment ruined it for me. I expected more, honestly.

The hotel was set in a very central area not far from main shopping street and taksim square, istiklal street and shopping breakfast. Also, a cobblestone street was 1 mile away. My room was good-sized & functional with big balcony and fresh towels and a terrace.

The location was convenient and the private parking was on site.

Helped with transport for wheelchair needs.

the rooms were brand-new as for me, on the lower floors. it had good facilities, every hotel should provide a safe box, a mini-bar, and central heating. the location was unbeatable and comfortable in a relatively quiet area, next to the center of the european part of the magestic istanbul, night clubs and taksim square and shopping area.

My bed was old, unfortunately.

The receptionist - Hasan was customer friendly, The hotel ambience was very relaxing, clean, freshly used towels, The location of the hotel is most appropriate for shopping.

The staff was accommodating to my needs.

When we arrived, there were no toiletries provided in the room, which left us scrambling to ask for basic shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast options were very limited. I also felt that the taxi service they arranged for us to the airport was overpriced and took too long to arrive.

Reasonably large rooms, overlooking city. The staff were excellent co-operating and hospitable and the location was magnificent.

Great Stay Near Taksim!

We had a blast here! The staff was super friendly, especially Mr Hüdo who made our mornings awesome with hot coffee. The rooms were comfy and clean, and the lobby had a cool vibe. The only thing was the breakfast could've had more variety after a few days. Definitely a great spot for exploring!

I had great time there! staffs are kind and friendly breakfast is good room is very clean and cozy if I visit istanbul again, I will stay Faros.
